Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr:
Ticket & Show Information: Tickets will be on sale in the atrium before school the week of the show, Monday, April 24 – Friday, April 28 from 8:15-8:40 am. Ticket prices are $5.00 in advance and $7.00 at the door.
The show begins at 7:30 pm both nights, Friday, April 28 and Saturday, April 29 and the box office will open at 6:45 pm. Call time for the cast is 6:00 pm both nights.
The doors to the gym will open at 7:10 pm. Cast members and their families are not allowed to save seats ahead of the gym opening.
This year, we have the video license to allow families to record their own personal copy of the production. This does not allow us to make and sell copies or distribute them in any way. Please be aware of others if you choose to record the performance and do not set up any equipment that would block the view of others around you. Thank you!

Congratulations to this year’s cast for Beauty and the Beast! First cast meeting will be January 7, from 4:15-5:00 in the Chorus room, C-118.

Auditions sign-ups are now available! Please see Mrs. Fallis in C-118 to sign-up or for more information. You will need to get a signed Parent Permission form in order to audition. Auditions begin Monday, November 16 and will run through December. The cast list will be posted on Friday, December 18. The first rehearsal will be a Cast Meeting on Thursday, January 7, 4:15-5:00 pm. Please check out the link below to see our proposed Rehearsal Schedule. Welcome to the 2015-2016 school year! This year’s Spring Musical is Beauty and the Beast and auditions will be held in December, with rehearsals beginning in January. Announcements regarding auditions will be made on the morning announcements in school and on this page of the HMS Chorus website. We’re looking forward to another great year! THE SOUND OF MUSIC CAST will have our first CAST MEETING ON MONDAY, JANUARY 12 AFTER SCHOOL! 4:15 – 5:00 PM! (Please make sure your ride will be here to pick you up at 5:00 pm!) We will meet in the Chorus room to go over the schedule, expectations, contract, costumes, etc. Please look over the schedule below and check your rehearsals with your family schedule. The rehearsals are grouped by scenes and you need to check out the scenes by character/song for the first few weeks of rehearsal. If you do not have a singing role, you will not need to attend the musical rehearsals in the first few weeks (until February).

This year’s musical will be the beloved classic, The Sound of Music! We are so excited to offer this show to our students and our school community and know it will be an awesome experience! Watch for information about auditions – auditions will be in December and rehearsals will start in January. The dates for this year’s production will be April 24-25, 2015. Congratulations to this year’s cast and crew of Peter Pan Jr.!! You were all fantastic and gave two amazing performances!! We, your teachers, could not be more proud of you!!! We’ve changed our musical (instead of Oklahoma! we’re doing Peter Pan Jr.!), finished auditions, and announced this year’s cast!! We are thrilled with this year’s cast and are looking forward to a fabulous production!! Our first meeting will be Thursday, Jan. 9 at 4:15 in the chorus room and is a required meeting for all cast members.

UPDATE!!! It’s that time again . . . time to get started on this year’s Spring Musical, Oklahoma! However, this year we’re starting a little sooner than in the past! Auditions will be held in December and rehearsals will start in January. Check the links below for audition and rehearsal dates and times. The musical is open to any student at HMS. Cast and chorus members will be announced before the Winter Break. Students interested in being part of the Backstage Crew will need to fill out an application which will be available in January.
